Purex Crystals ScentSplash Giveaway

Hey gang!
So I'm sitting here attempting to eat a bowl of homemade queso that didn't quite turn out right and I realized that I have a few giveaways I need to get posted ASAP!

So here is the first, Purex Crystals ScentSplash in-wash fragrance booster. That's a tongue twister for you!

The past few weeks have been hectic. I'm still trying to sell my house and so far it isn't going too well because I'm still here! In the meantime, we are living between home and my dad's house. Things have been a little chaotic and let's just say I don't always know where my mail ends up! So I apologize for the short length of this (and the next giveaway).

Purex has really made me a fan of these in-wash fragrance boosters and this one is no exception! It comes in liquid form, unlike the actual "crystals." It seems like I'm doing laundry every day to keep the house in "ready to show" mode. This bottle of happiness makes it a little bit easier! I used the largest suggested amount and no kidding, my entire downstairs smelled like a field of flowers all day!

Now it doesn't have softener capabilities, so if you are a fan of fabric softener, you will still need to add that. It blended well with my brand of blue stuff and my towels still smell wonderful days later. I was sent the Fresh Spring Waters scent to try and I absolutely love it! This is liquid freshness at it's best!

In fact, I was thinking of just running a load of it alone every day so the house could smell fresh...but I probably don't need the headache of that water bill! LOL

So enter below for a chance to win a coupon for your very own bottle and see what I mean.

Thanks for stopping by! Stay close for the next giveaway!

**I was sent this bottle of Purex Crystals ScentSplash to try out and review. I was not in any other way compensated. All opinions are my own.**

Pura Vida!

Hey y'all!

I keep making promises to do better about posting and then I break those promises. So I won't make any such promise this time!

I wanted to give you all a little run down on a trip I recently took (and LOVED). Two of my sisters and my two best friends and I decided to make a run for the equator. To Costa Rica! We started planning pretty early and got tickets and such purchased. We stayed in Jaco (pronounced Haa-CO). I'm still not sure I'm saying that correctly. You should have seen the looks on the immigration officer's face when I pronounced it as it is spelled. I'm pretty sure he called me an ignorant American.

Anywho, we flew from Charleston because they had the better fares and schedules at the time that we booked. Charleston to Miami to Jan Santamaria Airport. Something happened on our flight and me and my bestie were asked to move to another seat. It was actually better seats than what we had. Since we were so accommodating, we were given some l…

Soup(er) Sunday!

This past Sunday I hosted a Crafty with Canon party. I won the party through House Party (I love this site!).

Initially I was planning to do a few different finger foods. Well, the temperature dropped and I wanted soup. And chili. So I made both! And my sister also made a soup that was super delicious. I used my usual go to chili recipe, except I doubled up the seasonings because I didn't have a chili seasoning pack. I think it actually tasted better! I made it in my electric pressure cooker! It was so much faster and it tasted better than it usually does. I'm in love with my pressure cooker and would like another one. Anyone have one they want to give me?

Anyway, we had fun exploring the Canon Pixma printer and printing out photos and making cute little frames! But the food was really the star of the show! I'm going to link to all of the recipes because aside from small adjustments, none of them were my own!

This was a big hit! It was my first tim…

Black Panther: Movie Review

Please tell me y'all have seen the movie? If you haven't, don't read this post!

Let me give you a little bit of my back story on this Marvel Cinematic Universe. I am a Marvel fan. I don't read the comics, but the movies?! I'm here for them. Some of them are blah, but I watch them anyway. Why? Because usually they overlap and share stories. So, in preparation for the opening of Black Panther, I watched ALL of the Marvel movies in order of the stories, not the release date. I followed CNET's guide and it was pretty accurate. I did not watch the TV shows because I would still be watching. You don't have to. The movies will fill you in pretty well.

Now, for what I thought.

1. This movie was beautiful! The colors, the wardrobes, the technology, the natural hair, the beautiful black people that starred in this film, it was amazing!

2. The women. OMG. The WOMEN! The strong women in the movie inspired me. Okoye makes me want to shave my hair back off. Nakia makes …
